As Senior Manager of Space Medicine at SpaceX, Jaime oversees all medical and health aspects of human spaceflight operations, integrating the latest research and medical data to ensure astronaut safety. He and his team are responsible for providing medical support during launch and recovery, developing medical systems for Dragon and Starship, and managing SpaceX's research program.
Jaime began at SpaceX as a Senior Medical Research Engineer in 2021, where he developed the company's commercial astronaut research program and was an integral part of the medical oversight for over 15 human spaceflight missions, including the Polaris Dawn mission.
