Sasha Farley
Vice President of Programming
I’ve always questioned why we do things the way we do them and that curiosity never left. It is the foundation of my career and the reason I’ve always been drawn to experimenting, challenging assumptions, and finding new and better ways of working together.
My work has been shaped by my experience as a research fellow at the FDA, a management consultant at Booz Allen Hamilton, and an organization development consultant with NASA. Through these roles, I learned how powerful it is to translate complex scientific knowledge into approaches people can actually use, along with the cost of accepting “that’s just how we’ve always done it.”
As the founder of Sasha Farley Consulting (SFC), my work is grounded in 4 simple beliefs.
Humans are not machines.
Our brains are emotional before they are logical.
Adaptability is not a bonus skill but a core capability.
Meaningful, high impact work can happen anywhere with intentional design.
My mission with SFC is to help leaders and teams align how they lead, adapt, and collaborate with how the brain actually functions, using neuroscience-based insight and practical experimentation to turn ideas into habits that stick. Our work includes adaptability assessments and coaching, customized leadership development, and neuroscience-informed redesigns of remote team operating models.
Beyond my consulting work, I am passionate about helping shift to a human-centered perspective globally. In this pursuit, I have served on international boards, spoken at conferences, published research and thought pieces, hosted and participated in podcasts, and facilitated in-person and virtual workshops for global audiences. Due to these efforts, in 2023, I was recognized as one of 43 international practitioners featured in the “Handbook of Influencers & Pacesetters of Transformational Change & Development” in Zimbabwe. Academically, I hold an M.S. in Organization Development and a B.S. in Psychology with a Neuroscience minor, which grounds my work in both behavioral science and applied practice.
Across all aspects of my life, one belief guides everything I do: When we design with humans (and our brains) at the center, we create environments for people to perform AND flourish.
