Are you interested in learning how to critically appraise scientific literature but don't know where to start? Then this session is for you! Jointly hosted by the Organization for Space Medicine, Engineering and Design and International Institute for Astronautical Sciences Space Medicine Group, this Journal Club 101 workshop will teach attendees how to parse and critique scientific papers - and why it is important.
This workshop is open to IIAS and OSMED members and is free to attend. We recommend that attendees arrive having read the article of discussion (link below) to help get the most out of the workshop.

Understand the principles of a Journal Club
Practice critically appraising literature, methodologies and applications using a sample paper provided ahead of time
Explore potential use cases for journal clubs within their own environments in your own curricula or team training sessions
