About Dr. Jennifer Rochlis

Dr. Jennifer Rochlis is an aerospace executive, engineer and strategic advisor with more than 20 years of leadership experience spanning NASA, the defense industry and commercial spaceflight. She is the President and CEO of Advancing Frontiers, an aerospace consulting firm specializing in spaceflight integration services, and serves as Chair of the Board of Directors of the Organization for Space Medicine, Engineering, and Design (OSMED).

During her 19-year career at NASA, Dr. Rochlis held several senior leadership positions, including Chief of the Human Systems Engineering and Integration Division at Johnson Space Center. In this role, she led an organization of more than 200 staff and contractors, overseeing technologies, processes and engineering requirements designed to improve human health, performance and operational capabilities in space. Her work contributed to major NASA programs, including the Space Shuttle, International Space Station, Commercial Crew Program, Gateway and Artemis.

Following her NASA career, Dr. Rochlis served as Vice President of Products and Chief Solution Architect at Teledyne FLIR, where she led technology innovation, product development and engineering initiatives across multiple international defense business units.

An expert in human systems integration, human-robot collaboration and autonomous systems, Dr. Rochlis brings extensive experience connecting engineering, research, organizational leadership and human performance.

She holds a Ph.D. in aerospace engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a bachelor's degree in physics from Mount Holyoke College. Through her consulting, advisory and board leadership roles, she continues to support innovation, professional development and the advancement of human spaceflight.
