Have you been approached to peer review for a journal but don’t know if you’re qualified, or how to do so effectively? Then this session is for you! Jointly hosted by the Organization for Space Medicine Engineering and Design and the International Institute for Astronautical Sciences Space Medicine Group, this workshop builds off of our Journal Club 101 session where we taught attendees how to parse and critique scientific papers (prior attendance is not a prerequisite to attend this session). In this next session we will teach you how to expand your critical eye and serve as a peer reviewer for journals; how to provide constructive feedback to authors and raise your concerns for publication to editors. This session is for new reviewers, those who would like to get into reviewing, and existing reviewers who would like to learn how to up their game.
